First in NSW Physics, State Rank MX2, 99.95 ATAR Tutoring - The Maths and Phys Shack

Re: First in NSW Physics, State Rank MX2, 99.95 ATAR Tutoring - The Maths and Phys Sh Having had the pleasure of knowing Ruben personally, I can't recommend his (and Amol's) tuition highly enough. I have no doubt that the tuition will be extremely rigorous, thorough and of the highest quality -...

    To all Med Hopefuls

Re: Too all Med Hopefuls Very candidly put - an excellent read. Definitely a lot of good information (I daresay I can't outright disagree with anything) but I think readers should be aware that the piece is definitely awash with a negative tone, even if it is slight. Nonetheless a very helpful...

Really worried about this year... please help?

I'm going to be honest with you because I was in your situation. You can talk about balanced lifestyles all day long but at the end of the day, you need to have one of the top 50 aggregates in the state to get the nine five. If you get 'burnt out' for not having a balanced lifestyle, that's...

Related texts for Peter Skrzynecki and Shuan Tan?

Shaun Tan is horribly, horribly overdone. That's not to say you can't top the state with it, but you should choose a text that demonstrates wide, interesting exposure to literature to give you that extra tiny edge. A sophisticated-sounding foreign film is usually the go-to copout that works...

    Studying Optometry/Ophthalmology

Fantastic reply. Also worth noting that opthom. is one of the most competitive medical specialties. Most of your competitors will be holding research degrees. You should start cramming for a 99.75+ ATAR and 90+ UMAT - that's the best thing you can do for yourself at this stage.

Should I drop to advance english? Urgent help please :)

What EVER you do, do not do standard UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES unless the alternative was guaranteed, painful death. Actually I wouldn't do standard even then but you get my point.

    Any good tutors recommended ?

I went to PEAK, oh god it's absolutely terrible. The only tuition place I've actually disliked - they don't foster exam technique or treat you as an individual, it's 45 people in a class with a guy writing on a whiteboard. That's not what tuition is about! Here are my recommendations: Science...

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive All questions provided without a target mark value are a spectacular waste of time. Advantages/disadvantages of acid/base models can range from 2-7 marks (3~ and ~18 minutes) respectively. Please try and keep this in mind unless you guys are doing extremely...
