    2008 independent 4U maths trial paper

    i think my one was the independent trials, since its not the CSSA one, did alright in it, i am surpriced that my 4 unit maths mark is actually higher then my chemistry and physics mark . . . . btw i got 75% in 4u , and 74 in chem and 71 in physics = = which is pretty shit

    Solve x^2/3 + x^1/3 -6 =0 use u = x ^ (1/3) sub it in , so u^2 + u - 6 = 0 (u + 3)(u-2) = 0 u=2 or u=-3 u = x ^ 1/3 x ^ 1/3 = 2 x = 8 or x ^ 1/3 = -3 x = - 27
