WAM needed to be competitive for jobs?

I know people with HD wams and nothing else that won't get grad programs. If i was you, i'd focus on being an all rounder and have good work experience and EC's alongside the marks. Firms are looking for grads that have soft skills, strong marks alone won't get you a job (In most industries...

How to push extended responses from 18/19 to 20

If someone manages to pull of a 20/20, they should really be cracking a SR. 94-95 would be disappointing with a 20/20 in my opinion because a lot of us achieved that with 17-18s

Need Help With Business Question! (CSR)

That's a good criteria to go off, I'd just methodically work through those points. Although not necessary, in certain short answer questions (4-5 markers) i'd include a real life example to consolidate my analysis. E.g I used McDonald's continual support for grassroots sports via sponsorship...

SSAF? That's not much in the grand scheme of things, maybe $500? If nerd is gaining relevant work experience this shouldn't be an issue.

    General Thoughts: Economics

Someone (or a few people should collaborate) to make a MC answers thread like we did in 2013, it would avoid all the comments asking what the answers were for each q.

    General Thoughts: Economics

Considering the other 3 essay questions were generic, i'd say there is still an element of rote involved. In regards to short answers though, it's clear they're getting more difficult every year and there aren't as many "easy" marks as previously.

    General Thoughts: Economics

Yep, except for microeconomic reform though, I said that was unlikely. In all honesty, these questions are fairly generic and a student that did practice essays wouldn't have any issues. I actually like q28 more than a CAD specific question because you can link BOP + exchange rates + macro...
