I also shouldn't have to inspect every single register before I leave, if I ask someone to clean checkouts they should be cleaned. They know full well that cleaning means conveyors+scales+bins+dusting the bottom shelf. It was clean anyway, there were like 2 registers that had lettuce leaves...

I think people prepare better for tutes with CP marks. One of my arts tutes last year did not, very few people turned up (no minimum attendance), noone did the readings, and the tute was extremely awkward and boring.

in my business law tute, you only have to say one thing each tute to get the cp marks for that tute. but that means you have to go to all the tutes to get full marks, though you don't neccessarily need to prepare THAT well.

to add to what johony said: i just went to seek and searched weekend+sydney+casual, and I found many many suitable jobs. I don't know if any are in suitable locations for the OP, but still, they are there.

haha, i was just talking to someone i work with, she turned down being part time and they gave her five hours this week and none next week. (and she's a decent operator too, does thursday night smokeshop and is being supervisor trained) obviously they're trying to make a point. :rolleyes:

You know what, the nil responsibility thing is the best thing about my cash office shift. As much as yes, you can be fired if the armaguard crap is wrong, I'm the sidekick, nothing more. OMGZ though, shit day. Four down, my operator shift never got replaced, new SM doesn't know checkouts...
