Too late to get a tutor??

From personal experience, it can help A LOT if your tutor can design a crash revision course for you. But in the end, it's all up to how much work YOU want to put in. Good luck!

Chem mon and man 1st major dot point

Everything is assessable and you should be prepared to be examined on any part of the syllabus.

    Help!

The other go is for them to cancel this assessment and scale the weighting of the others up. But that too has some element of unfairness to it. Interesting subject for discussion!

The general idea is not to worry too much about them, they'll be straightforward.

What are you doing these Holidays?

Haha, if you're in Year 11/12, you should be doing revision. Otherwise, PARTY IT UP. Seriously.

Failing so hard, should i repeat or continue since trials are still left?

No. OP: Do not, under ANY circumstances, repeat your HSC. Don't do it. No. Go to uni, doesn't matter which course, it's flexible as hell and you can get some credit next to your name whilst moving forward with your life.

Is it possible to be among the best without coaching?

Fair call, apologies for any misunderstanding. Also, completely agreed on the bolded part, now that I think about it. OPs concerns are valid (we all want the best for ourselves and our children), but what exactly are those concerns?

Is it possible to be among the best without coaching?

You don't *HAVE* to be anything. You don't even *HAVE* to go to school. It all depends on what they are aiming for and what they consider is a suitable goal (whether it's 75 ATAR or 99.95 ATAR - both are equally valid). If they're aiming for 99.95, then yes, you do *HAVE* to be within that top...

Is it possible to be among the best without coaching?

You have no right to make such an assertion. Perhaps they both are aiming for an ATAR well into the 99's, in which case making a general plan of approach is a good idea at a young age. They don't seem to be over-thinking anything, their concerns are rather valid, just as valid as your point of...

Is it possible to be among the best without coaching?

But my honest advice: tutoring is definitely not necessary, if there's a fire within the student's heart no obstacle will be able to stop them. But it really, really helps. I went to maths tutoring since Year 8 (nothing else, I still took y 7 -10 really easy, was just an average student at BHHS)...
