ultimately its up to the higher authority of your school my school rounds raw assessment marks to the nearest number and allows many people to tie rank wise

Yep Assessment mark = exam mark Kinda benefits those who have high internal ranks and take a "sickie" <_<

Yes they recycle questions but structure it differently e.g. change the numbers, change the verbs (assess -> evaluate) And they also have the quirky habit of throwing a question which many initially think is out of the syllabus i.e. SOR '09

I remembered for independent trials, there is a mandated "window" period which schools cannot release marked papers back until the very last school does their trials But that doesn't stop ppl from telling questions to others (esp for extended responses/essays)
