Are we allowed to convert a radian question to degrees so we can understand it better but then convert it back to radians when needed. E.g. converting it back for the final answer or when doing a formula working with radians.

So i'm starting off my belonging essay and was wondering how we would make a thesis that could fit any question which is given to us. I have heard from friends to use the HSC syllabus but i have no clue how to do that. Would anybody be so kind as to give me some tips?
