For me it depends on the subject. Ancient History/PE have their own folders with dividers, plastic sleeves etc. Maths and religion have books. For Bio and English I have a display folder for each topic. This is because these subjects have so many handouts, and little by the way of...

Re: blue or black pen? I bought a 4 colour pen once that had additional black and blue inks, that you can slot in once the original one had run out. But I've not seen them since, so they must have been a bonus or something.

Re: blue or black pen? That is indeed true, although while I notice such things, I don't really mind. Unless its totally different of course. But you could get a black pen thats running out of ink, which may be more of a grey colour.

Re: blue or black pen? I'm the same (sort of). I prefer blue, but I think that there's 1 blue pen and 3 black pens in my pencil case. Thus, I always seem to be writing with black.

That's my PE teacher, he just sets homework that has no point, and worse is that he admits it. He says "Its just so that some of the other people in the class will study", uh, no, that doesn't happen because they don't do it!
