    legal

The Corey Davis case is a good start - I used that for my assessment! Case study/media article assessments are designed to prepare you with the knowledge required for short answer/exam-style questions in the final exam. The biggest tip I have is that you write your answer/s around the syllabus...

    Maxwell Education Experiences?

Hi! Unfortunately, I haven't had any experience with Maxwell Education (honestly haven't even heard of them until now) - but during Year 11+12 (2018/2019) I was being tutored by Matrix for Maths and Physics. It was fantastic and I couldn't speak more highly of them - I definitely wouldn't have...

    ATAR Understanding help

Hi! This might help: https: //www.uac.edu.au/assets/documents/atar/all-about-your-atar.pdf I know someone who didn't do maths at all in Yr12 and still received at 99.85 ATAR - so it's definitely possible. At the end of the day, it all depends on how you perform relative to your cohort and the...

Does this mean that Year 11 marks will count as internals for our HSC?

True true 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ ... This also happened last week though with the University of Western Australia https: //www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/apr/01/australian-universities-change-admissions-as-coronavirus-disrupts-education https...

    Physiotherapy at ACU or WSU?

Cut-offs change from year to year because they are determined by three factors which can’t be predicted: The number of places available in the course; The number of applicants listing the course as a preference; The ATARs of those applicants. Hope that helps!

Does this mean that Year 11 marks will count as internals for our HSC?

Maybe... but if you think about it, Yr11 does set up a number of fundamental skills and theories required for some Yr12 subjects🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Does this mean that Year 11 marks will count as internals for our HSC?

It all depends on how the next few months play out... A lot of universities are now basing admission off of Yr11 and Yr12 results due to the disruption: https: //www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/apr/09/anu-to-base-admission-on-year-11-because-of-significant-disruption-from-coronavirus

    physics scaling

Physics is one of those subjects that does scale well. However, it depends on a number of factors - like how your marks are, your rank internally AND how that compares other individuals in your class. Based off of what you've said, your internal mark of 52% and the fact that you're doing well in...

    Physiotherapy at ACU or WSU?

It all depends on where you live and whether you are willing to travel I guess. I know that in regard to physiotherapy, WSU has a very good track record with a number of successful graduates over recent years: https: //www.miragenews.com/recognising-academic-excellence/

Can you guys identify the technique and effect of this quote for me

Quote 1: Sibilance is the repetition of soft consonant sounds in words to create a 'whooshing' or 'hissing' sound in the writing. This is evident in 'sense of phase'. Like Emma said though, there is more context needed in order to explore the effect of this. Quote 2: Contrast and juxtaposition...
