Re: Found out from friends I did both given option topics for trial. What does this m
I made the same stuff up in my Ancient History prelims. The teacher just took whichever was my highest mark but the BOS may not be so kind.
We have two awards. One for the 'Most Outstanding Student' which is based on firsts and seconds. Like what has been mentioned above we have a dux which is awarded the following year to the highest ATAR.
Our teacher gets angry when we don't make a judgement. She claims you have to be more for one side than the other, but you can still talk about positives and negatives.
I didn't do the CSSA Paper but for the HSC Regs you would have needed to talk about citing sources in the bibliography, following the laws of copyright, not using the data to exploit individuals etc.
So you guys had the ancient human remains question as well, there's never much to write about it. The Independent trials for ancient we're pretty decent. Sorry you guys had it so bad:/
Yes!! Trials done, my second week was a million times better than my first week. CAFS and Ancient were so good (although a couple of the questions were a bit annoying). Extension 1 English questions were also good. As I expected Extension maths was hard but at least I think I passed it.
If you guys think the CSSA multiple choice were hard you should have seen the Independent paper. I think I got like 12/20 for them and by far the hardest multiple choice I've ever done for legal :/ But our human rights questions were easy. What was the crime question like?
Had my Modules trials today, twas okay. I'm really confident with Module A, Mod B was okay but halfway through I thought of a much better line of argument but Mod C was pretty bad. Although since we've only been studying Mod C for a week we were given an extract (which took ages to read and pick...
I was just wondering if you get an answer, say 99060.64849 and you have to round to "find how many bacteria there are" is it 99061 (the textbook's answer) or is it 99060 because they need to be whole bacteria (I swear this is what you had to do!)
Thanks :)
My trial weightings are:
English Paper 1: 5% (thank god cause that creative...gah!)
Paper 2: 15%
Eng Ext 1: 30%
2U Maths: 35%
3U Maths: 35%
Ancient: 20% (yay not much!)
CAFS: 30%
Legal: Idk lol... We have 35% of the assessment left so I'm betting it's either 20% (Most of our...
I regret not doing a critical response for English Extension 2, but I probably wouldn't drop the entire subject. Other than that I wouldn't change a thing, my three weeks of Physics turned me off Science lol, so glad I chose CAFS!
