Hi, I need some advice wheather to drop General maths. I'm ranked 44/60 with about 54% in my half yearlies which is an equivalent to a band 3 lol. I am ranked in the top 5 of all my other subjects so it would not be counted towards my ATAR. Thoughts?

Hi, I just got my half yearly report. The school is ranked aprox 240s 4/75 English Standard 3/19 Legal 5/50 PDHPE 1/5 textiles 1/13 Art 44/60 General maths- thinking of dropping though... Estimation please. Can I get an ATAR of 80?

98 days! It's a two digit number now. Scary! I haven't made much progress because my canvas is at school. There seems to not be enough time in the art periods.

You've come so far, it would be worthless to drop it. Do 40mins of your major each night. It will add up. Relax, 38 days doesn't see like much but if you do 40mins a night or so it will add up. Don't give up :)

My sister got an atar of 93 and she ended up doing a year of fine arts before changing degrees because of that aspect. I want to purse a creative career, but I feel as though it would be frowned upon or just another useless degree. And frankly I do believe that. I have looked at a B of design...

Don't give up, keep trying. I was in the same boat as you, I handed out resumes and never heard anything back. Ages after handing out my resumes I finally got a job at a pharmacy.
