What RealiseNothing said is correct, but just so you know, they ONLY look at ONE question for states in the HSC. I.e. if you get states wrong for 2 questions and they are looking for states in 1 of them, you'll only lose the marks for the 1 question they are checking states for.

Load of bull rule for choosing advance? Help!!

Although tbh, I don't see why you can't do Adv, but if you're a borderline Adv student, then Ext 1 would be way too difficult and I don't see why you're choosing it?

    Should I do Extension 2?

Drop to 10 units in Y12 and keep MX2, especially since you'll need it in uni.

No. There's always flow. Or you don't get good marks. It's not the steps of an ion test procedure. It's an English essay, which requires flair and creativity and thus, flow to do very well in.

    Official Assessment Task Guidlines

Nah that's fine - my school doesn't finish Mod C till a bit after trials but Mod C has a speech and it's in the trials, so unfortunately for you, I think your teacher is allowed to assign you a task on it.

Yep they do count as separate subjects, so you're fine.

Year 11 maths in the HSC?

Yep, since maths builds up on content more so than other subjects e.g. you can't learn Yr 12 Applications of Calculus without learning how to differentiate (which is a Yr 11 topic at most schools). Same type of thing applies for many other topics.

    Fourteen Units for the HSC?

    13/14 is simply insanity I'd say. :)

    Fourteen Units for the HSC?

I think it's too much. Modern is quite a lot of work as is Chem in Y12 (Y12 Chem is very different with less concepts and more memorising).

    CSSA Paper 2

hmm form part is a bit weird but its pretty much how romantic and gothic conventions inspired such imagery for shelley and values is anything and for scott --> corporate blah influenced depiction of the skyscrapers visually appealing way allows him to highlight his contextual criticisms more...

    Medstart or Medentry?

I reckon Ace Tuition in West Ryde is very very good for UMAT - good teachers who really know their shit - no one knows about it but its bloody good.
