Not sure, USYD has a whole faculty dedicated to education whereas UNSW edu is just in the arts faculty.
For chinese, UNSW students learn simplified characters (used in China) but for USYD ive heard they learn traditional (Taiwan, parts of china)?

And it recent years why has the popularity of USYD (esp with the white population) grown so much whilst UNSW diminished
Yes thats true. Ive got an overseas student stayin in my house. shes been here since yr 10 and shes in yr 12 now and last week she didnt know what cough meant. she still doesnt know how to construct a basic sentence.
All her friends r also int students.

And I wasnt payin out ppl wanting to get into IB, im payin out people who do law to get into IB even if they have no interest in law and the humanities
Im thinking of deferring for a year or semester to go teach English in China so I can be exposed to the language coz im studying it atm. Its hard to learn when you're in Australia where you only speak it in the classroom and always use English writing
Its the sad reality: a large majority of asians do law to get into Investment Banking and because their parents say it sounds good and has a cutoff of 99+
