    world war one historiography

I beg to differ. Historiography is used in the first assessment task at my school QUITE heavily. We have to back up most of our source analysis with relevent quotes etc. So...yeah. Considering that majority of schools are saying you SHOULD have historiography, I'd say its quite important.

    R v. King

Hello! I have a legal studies assessment and I've chosen a case, that being R v. Knight, which is heavily connected to Byron's law. It was this case that pushed everything over the edge and had the grievous bodily harm charge expanded to include the death of a foetus. If anyone's done anything...

    Module B - King Lear

The way I see it, it was a bitch of a question. Last years and this years seemed to have done an excellant job of screwing people over. I fully agree that anyone focusing more on a familial reading of the play MAY (and I say MAY) have had it easier. HAVING SAID THAT, whilst I found the...

    The Vampire Chronicles

Yes. Oh yes. Well, I'm a big fan of gothic fiction etc. The real stuff. Like...STOKER. John Polidori. And quite a few of the early poets, Coleridge, Byron etc. I find it difficult to read Anne Rice, it all seems a little too...I don't know. It could be because I prefer early horror/gothic...

    Group Performances

I wrote the script for our group, which is still just...bleh. One girl has now been away for who knows how long with 'the flu' *sigh* There's only so much one can take. I mean, a couple of days is ok, but it's been going on for so long and it's usually this one person who's away all the...

    HSC drama exam

I'm not too fussed. I'm on pathways so I don't have as many, but at the same time, my other exams are really early up and then drama is just randomly weeks after. So...yes. NOT that it's a bad thing. I suck at drama essays :P

    Trying for ANU 2008

I'm on pathways now, so I have to wait until '09. Bleh. But I want to do a bachelor of arts, majoring in drama and english! It's a 75 at the moment, which is fine. I want to get better than that, but the lower UAI certainly takes off some of the pressure.

    Group Performances

Our group was really stressful at the start aswell. We had an idea, it was strong and we could have done heaps with it, but then the other three members of my group had to change, so I went with it as I didn't really have a choice. Anyway, they came up with another idea that I thought was...

GP - computers? Stumped for ideas...

Hello! For or GP We're doing this whole big thing about myspace etc etc and we're going fairly well, but there's a few things we have to change. The one thing we're having problems with is representing certain aspects of the computerised and myspace world on stage and physically. Things like...

Psyched for group now! It was going really bandly before, but now we've got a concept and we've done a trial performance already, so we just need to polish some things and it'll be finished! It's called "In myspace, no-one can hear you scream..."

Do YoO think this is weird??

Your posts do very little to reassure anyone of your maturity. You asked for opinions. You've recieved them. Stop whinging about one persons opinion if your going to be a hypocrite and then say 'i love it.' Make up your mind. As for your situation, if you want to go out with a 28 year old...

    Torchwood (Australian airing)

Well, I've watched the whole series and being a die hard Who fan...I'm just fond of it. I've also watched the upcoming series of Doctor Who, and theres some interesting connections to be made...particularly with the whole 'Saxon' thing. I'll say no more for those who have not seen it yet. For...

    FAQ - Frontline

Hello. So, this may not be relevant and may have already been mentioned, however, I did an assessment today and my question was: "The truth is dependant on a variety of agendas" Discuss.... So, I used two ORTs and 3 episodes of frontline. There's no real limit as to how many you can use and...

    Frontline!!!

I had to do an assessment today and I used two ORTs and 2-3 episodes of frontline. It worked fairly well for me. My ORTs were a propaganda speech from WW2 and an article from Woman's Day entitled 'Paris's Jail Nightmare.' They both related fairly well to the theme of the essay and I was able to...
