    thanks for the advice everyone. i think i'm most interested in mechanical engineering because of the variety of interesting areas it covers and i'd be good at it. what kind of salary do engineers expect when they move into senior and management positions? cheers.

    i'd say if you can maintain those marks or slightly improve, u'd b looking at atleast an OP3, probably a OP2 or 1 if you could squeeze into the A's for math c or physics. also remember some uni's give you bonus ranks for passing math c.

    you need at least an OP1 or equivalent. i think UAI 98 is equivalent to an OP1. also UQ has a bonus rank system where if u do advanced maths, lote or a uni subject you get 2 bonus ranks which could be the difference between an OP2 or OP1. hope that helps

    just a question re clinical placements in ur final two years which i suppose would be applicable to all med school, do u get paid for these clinical placements or are they unpaid? also how much time would you spend doing clinical placements during these times? do u still have lectures, etc...
