    Lying about being straight

Hero, your parents have watched you grow up and trust me, they are able to realise their children's sexuality sometimes even long before they (children) have. I think your mother is well-aware and so is your father, although in himself he is battling to accept it (hence checking msn logs for...

public edu ambassador forum @UWS tomorrow.

Hey everyone! Is anyone going to the Public Education Ambassadors' Forum at UWS tomorrow? What's to expect? I've been given no information about it besides the acceptance letter into the program. Any comments would be appreciated :)

    general UNSW chit-chat

Really? I was hoping you'd say yes. Com Bas are offered everywhere but the choice is hard. Are you referring to the fact of me grasping that it's an art degree or making a comment about it compared to other art degrees? I don't get your question. Thanks for your thoughts though :)

    For the girls

I've always thought there's some courage in looking someone straight in the eyes and if they look long enough to realise that they are nice, more so complimenting on them, well, I think that's probably the most amazing of the choice in the poll. The others sound too superficial. 'The eyes are...

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2009)

Hey everyone. This query is very off-topic, yet it's been bugging me for weeks. I'm doing a little research on the BAs in Communications (journalism) across all Unis, of course trying to figure out which course is best. My question is, how many credits is this BA approximately and what is the...

    does anyone not drink

I personally don't drink. I think that the appeal of alcohol is a part of Australian society, unfortunately. I've lived in other countries with more lenient laws on alcohol and they don't have as high intoxication statistics. However,I don't think drinking is wrong as long as it is in...

I want to get my Ls...

Liverpool RTA gets quite busy on Saturdays. I'd recommend you book your test in advance through the website (you need a credit card to pay for test $36), or go in if you finish school early on a weekday - last booking available is 4pm. If you acquire your licence, it's $20 on top of the test.

    St Vincent De Paul

Wow, those finds above are really great! I personally love the fact that lives have been lived in vintage clothes. I found my best purchases in the vintage stores of the blue mountains - there are specialty vintage stores (which are much more expensive) as well as Vinnies, Salvation Army, etc.

    Study music?

Re: Do you listen to music when you study? I can't concentrate on studying when I've got music on. I've got this need to either sing the words while reading through text or hum the tune- I can't do it.

Anyone recommend the communications BAs here? I'm considering UNSW.

I want to get my Ls...

I got my Ls about two months ago at Liverpool and I would suggest that you make sure all your documents of ID have your exact same name. They made a big fuss over one of my documents which didn't have my middle name. Also, I had my passport done when I was about 11 and because since then my...

what sort of chicks/guys do u HATE the MOST??

LOL that's a twisted way of thinking. I agree with numerous people in that the whole "yo, bro" talk is the biggest turn off... and those males who walk around thinking they are God's gift to women. It's called humility.

    Exchange in year 11??

Aww yeah, well, you still have some time. If you have a job in particular, you can probably make it working a few hrs p/w .. That's what Ive been doing for a year now and I'm half way there. I just dont trust myself to take a year off, although from so much study I might very well explode LOL...
