Do we get a proper UAI certificate too? The one i got mailed has my UAI printed nicely over a crease so that it wore away in the mail and continues to do so whenever it is folded lol

too right... thats how some people got UAIs lower than their hsc marks and others got higher. My UAI was 4 points higher than my highest hsc mark and yet other people got a uai in a band lower than their lowest hsc mark it angers me a little that the BOS misleads ppl by saying not to worry...

The merit or honour list is just plain stupid.. some people have already pointed out reasons why no-one wants to assemble a list that actually reflects excellence (such as to increase paper sales by way of more names), but here is my whinge... Someone can get a UAI well within the 90's but...

Possible reason for mark being lower than expected: Boy does not have all that much talent. Boy tries to mask this by way of an outrageous story. When paper is finally marked, marker sees through poor go at hiding a poor story, and marks accordingly... just a thought
