hey just wondering if maths (1131) 1a and maths (1231) 1b from first year math are used later in future for future comp sci subjects

currently enrolled: COMP1917 - Higher Computing MATH1081 - Discrete maths MATH1131 - Maths 1a just wondering from your experience, are text books required for them?

so i've been given an offer to study at unsw which ive alrdy accepted. last year i studied engineering down at uws so right now is there anything else required from the previous instituition? such as HECS information, academic standing etc, and usually how does one usually sign out/unenrol out ?

well im still kinda confused about this unit selection thing, so basically if i add the subject units for comp sci into my unit selection, and then do well in it, therefore i can internally transfer to that course?

so i didnt make the cut off for comp sci at unsw, though i did make it for the cut off at uws. im wondering if better to transfer internally since ill be applying for comp sci degree with a minor in arts, so in other words apply for the arts degree then add on the comp sci degree to it. Or...

well basically lets say we a person who is ranked 3/3 and another doing the same subject ranked 236/238 in the end are they the same thing? like both would be considered as last. do smaller no. of ppl in a class have an advantage over the 1's with more ppl? or are they practically the same thing?
