    clerkship questions

In all seriousness though, I am intrigued by your outlook on certain things as you've discussed on these forums. I curious about where you've come from and how you've come to develop this outlook on things.

Absolute FAIL in combating Muslim stereotypes....

It can't possibly come down to something as simple as "gross lack of foresight", can it? That the Palestinian masses who supported Hamas actually believed that Hamas' violent methods of political persuasion was the right way to resolving the issues at hand? And that after suffering the...

or Berwick and Gippsland and Caulfield, and Sunway Malaysia, and South Africa. But the medical degree is taught in the Clayton, Gippsland, and partly the Malaysian campuses.

    monash or melbourne uni?

There won't be a difference whether you graduate with a medicine degree from Monash or UMelb, but I agree, go Monash. If you are 100% sure you want a career in med and that's the only thing that makes you happy, then there's no reason to hold you back from getting into the undergraduate degree...

tom hanks to turn on hardon

I agree with you. But without Tom Hanks, this event wouldn't have generated as much interest as it would if it was a non-media figure. That's unfortunate if you ask me.

Islam group urges forest fire jihad

I'm only asking so that I know exactly what you're saying so that I can respond with the correct historical fact, but I am seeing a pattern from you of being vague and/or going back and changing your statements after I ask for clarification on where exactly you stand in terms of what you know of...

Islam group urges forest fire jihad

Let's get something clear, are you saying that Japan only 'democratised and industrialised' after WWII....? So let's get this clear, you're saying that the US has been altruistic in its efforts to 'protect muslim interests'.. right?

Islam group urges forest fire jihad

Attempting to change a political system is tantamount to changing culture and values, especially when many government/political systems in the middle east revolves around religious/cultural/tribal issues. Historically speaking (and I'm talking up to very very recent history), the West has had...

Islam group urges forest fire jihad

Wrong, moll. W Bush has, time and time again, spoken about wanting to create (ie. "You're all a bunch of raghead savages who need to be educated in the white western man's ways") a democratic middle east that is more in line with US governmental/politics. The West has been trying to impose...

Absolute FAIL in combating Muslim stereotypes....

That is exactly the point - the fact that this man is the founder of a TV station that is trying to educate and dispel Muslim stereotypes, and the irony of (not the fact that he brutally murdered his wife, but) the fact that he did it in a way which only feeds into the Muslim stereotype that is...

Q: "What kind of lawyer do you want to be?" A: "A rich one!"

eh..? hahah you understand wrong. I was just talking about barristers making up to $15k in another thread, and I've also posted this link in another thread previously. As I was saying there, law money looks pretty good.
