Defffffffffffffffffffffinitely, avoid the threads. I mean, not cos they're bad or anything, but whether you're looking for an excuse or not, they'll give you one. If you're trying to study, stay away. If you're a bum like me and know you should study, but just keep looking for another delay...

Can someone explain how the quality of the school ends up affecting the scaling of individuals' UAIs???? Is it based on the school in general, or the students from that school sitting that particular subject? I don't understand how it all works.

So ... basically what you guys are trying to tell us is ... 1. Choose subjects you're good in, because taking a gamble on a highly scaled subject may not pay off. 2. Scaling is different every year, so, refer to point 1. 3. Do well in comparison to everyone else and you will do fine...
