    World of Warcraft

There are levelling guides that you can follow very easily in www.wow-pro.com. I wish I knew about this site when I started, it would have given me a lot of ideas on where the hell to go.

    Reasoning?

Try decreasing your MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) since you're using wireless. Use DrTcp maybe somewhere around 1424 should be sufficient.

    Moving out post-hsc

You shouldn't need to rent out your own house/apartment as a uni student. There are people working full time (white collar) that lives in shared houses. Most of the time it's the best solution if you want to live near or at the city. The amount of money you would need really depends on which...

    World of Warcraft

You should try levelling up a druid and play it in battlegrounds, it's so much fun especially when playing with another druid. Take turns in bear form for the flag or healing, go stealth and you can surprise them either if your're defending or when you snatch the objective. Of course also...

Centrelink (youth allowance + rent assistance)

I've been working too hard apparently and my Income Bank is around $2k now, I'm almost halfway through uni. If I run out of this Income Bank money, would they deduct my Youth Allowance or Rent Assistance money (or both)? Currently I dedicate $340 out of $400 into rent per fortnight, save the...

    Transformers - The Movie (2007)

Haha make it like you take a drink everytime they transform. It was quite awesome, we had no trouble getting the ticket for an 8:30pm session at 6pm and not much of a queue. I think the fight between prime & megatron should be more climactic. I really thought they would keep fighting until...

    killing viruses

I use bitdefender, $24.95USD for 1 year. http://www.hermanstreet.com/store/smarthtml/bitdefender-radio.html It seems to work good enough to protect my system, there is no need to shell out $100 on Norton branded items. The only drawback I noticed is its somewhat frequent checkups for updates...

RTA dumbs down the new Red P's test...

Haha yeh I did mine during school hours and my test was on 2:15 to 2:45 (actually it was 2 - 2:30 but they came late). So for the 1st half of my test I went for 60 around the schools, on the way back I slowed down to 40, still passed.

    ADSL2 and router compatibility

I use Billion 7300G wireless router modem it's somewhat better than the DLink G604T. It supports Annex M (for future use or use today with Internode's SOHO plans) It has QoS (Quality of Service) prioritisation to shape non essential ports. It has SNR margin configuration to increase or...

    Bigpond.

I'm with tpg, the static IP addressing is a bonus for me because I have an ftp server. It's the most cheapest if you stick to your plan once you sign up & you don't move houses, change of plan costs $60 for any plans.

30GB for $60 no excess charge. Between 12am to 9am you will get uncapped if you've gone over the limit. They don't count uploads.

    IMPORTANT MicroSD card dilemma

No, my phone can't format. Just use windows's one and don't format it as FAT32 it can cause some incompatibilities with phones or SD players.

    IMPORTANT MicroSD card dilemma

I've found that my microSD (+ SD adapter) cannot have more than around 128 items per folder because that would lock up the disk and must be reformatted since my card reader can't read it. It's a strange limitation that my card has, I have Kingston 1GB.

    Red Orchestra

$24.93 AUD, paid through paypal. Quite a nice game, a feature they have is when on a still water pond, your movements would create ripples & waves on the water that bounce around naturally. I couldn't find a populated australian server but maybe that was because I tried to play it at 8am this...

    Wow challenger?

It doesn't seem so good since different races have different classes available, what if you want to be an x class but you don't want to be a y race.

    Red Orchestra

http://www.redorchestragame.com/index.php I'm wondering if anyone here has this game and want to know if there are many australian servers available. For its price $20 USD, it seems worthwhile and personally I'm not fond of the futuristic aspect of ET: Quake Wars, which would cost $50 USD so...
