I believe Survivor is a very good text for powerplay. I have used it in a number of assessments and I think it is easy to use. There a number of instances where power shifts, and the best part is that there are 7 different seasons to choose from.

Does anyone believe that Donne's poetry is really relevant to society today? I'm being encouraged to see that it is and to make use of it in the HSC. Anyone have a similar approach?

My class was supposed to go to a reading but we cancelled cos it no one wanted to go to it. Frankly, it sounded really boring. JC is still a good topic for powerplay, i enjoy it.
