Going to CSU Wagga in '07!

Cottages in Wagga are pretty good. Half are oldish (but not delapidated or anything). Half are newish. About 5 or 6 were only built in the last 6 months :) They aren't in the middle of nowhere either - All the cottages are on one side of the road and walking distance to everything. Theres 8...

Going to CSU Wagga in '07!

Yeah I'm in cottages this year. I got 30 weeks again which is a bit of a pain (which most people don't realise until they have to start moving their crap out every holidays). I know you're kidding but I wouldn't even think about fireworks - security would be onto you in no time simply for the...

Going to CSU Wagga in '07!

Proddies (i.e. TV Production) - an interesting collection of folk. Generally fairly fruity but they seem harmless enough. Not sure of exact numbers but I'm pretty sure it'd be more around the 50-100 mark rather than 200. And all very friendly :) Sydneyites - There's a fair few of them around...

    o week in wagga?any good?

O-Week was awesome! And from what I gather, much the same as any other uni's. During the day theres stuff on to help you work out where things are around the uni (tours, meetings with other ppl. from your course, getting your enrolment sorted, self defence, the occasional waterfight and bbq) and...

    Wagga Acccomodation

You don't get allocated a car space but there are 2 reasonably sized carparks running up each side of the cottages area that everyone in cottages and St. Martins shares. You can usually get a space pretty easily but if you get stuck (doesn't happen all that often) you can always go and park in...

    B Nursing- Wagga

Seriously, South isn't that bad. It's as clean as anywhere on main, the rooms are like 2 1/2 times the size of any of those on main, you can walk to and from town which makes things easier when everyone is trying to get a cab or the courtesy bus home, and you don't have to fight with anyone else...

    Pharmacy - Orange or Wagga?

Crazybrad is right - Orange is still teething. They still do their actual pharmacy classes via video-conferencing from Wagga. Other subjects (chem, microbiology, etc.) are studied internally though.

    B Nursing- Wagga

The rooms on South are roughly twice the size of those on main and have double the storage space. The setup is a bit different from cottages though cause its more dorm-style (something like 30 people per block) as opposed to the 8 people in cottages. It's also a 10 minute drive from the uni but...

Has anyone else got their login and password stuff yet?

If you're really worried about it (as I was yesterday) call the 1300 number in that booklet that has the accomodation info in it and they can give it to you over the phone. However if you get someone who tells you that they cant give it to you over the phone, hang up and call again. I spent...

I talked about OHS, legislation stuff, role of employer/employee, personal/environmental hygiene, cleaning procedures, regular maintenance checks, reporting faulty equipment procedures....and then basically just related it all back to different examples of equipment like blender, stove, knives etc.

    Hospitality

I didn't think it was too bad...the questions on gaming legislation threw me a bit initially though. I swear I studied like every single piece of legislation except gaming. Ah well. I winged it :) NO MORE HOSPITALITY FOREVER!! :D :D :D :D

    Hospitality Multiple Choice

I chose D (ohs committee) as its their responsibility to identify, report, and recommend strategies to remove/control/prevent the hazard. Controlling the hazard would possibly involve putting the employees at risk...Well, I assume so anyways.
