    Transport around Newcastle

Um ouch? We've got an Emily over here.. I quite often get 'Emma' from people who don't know me well. I don't hate any Emmas, but I hate it - verrry used to it however.

Such a lie. Travelling through Kurri Kurri, Weston, Abermain, Neath and then Cessnock is BULLSHIT on one single-laned route. I much prefer Newcastle for weaving. There often seems to be more traffic heading the opposite direction to me too, so I imagine it's worse. Never go Hexham route. Most...

the people who live around us are povos :(

Yeh but that's just it, they're fucking students. Wasn't there some 2-min noodle protest yesty or wed highlighting the fact that uni students are poor as fuck. I dunno, I don't care anymore *lives at home*.

    General Chit-Chatter

They would, though you might have to ring in advance to ensure they have a supply. Guys, not saying it 100% won't happen, but they're mosquitoes.. we're not exactly a tropical area and even though there's kind've a lot, it's also not really. You will survive. Swat at them, and let it go.

Only just saw this. It's uni man.. freak out that you might actually have to do some research! You should never be trusting just one source.

the people who live around us are povos :(

Callaghan is a suburb, for arguments sake, but it really is just the uni. It was silly to include it - bit of a 'dah' moment..

    Assessment Overload

Still not hard. Man I miss ling :( What teachers have you got? I prolly won't recognise many, but one of my later ling classes had this total dick. Agh. Shame.

Haha I thought this too. That it would be more awkward. Whereas the guy who did the massive fart should've waited :p

Haha I remember one time I was in the lab part of the AIC and this dude in front of me kept watching episodes of Japanese game shows and stuff. Pretty hilarious stuff. Mostly anthropomorphic monkeys.

    General Chit-Chatter

As far as I'm aware, no. Except for people who have minor allergies to mosquitoes and develop welts from them. They're nothing new. Happens at the beginning of every year. They will dissipate.

    Assessment Overload

Aww, I did poli2020. Piece of piss! Is it still John Tate and umm, Stephen Gold-something? < That dude is a legend. I see him at Cambo gigs frequently. I would've done ling1111 (think they've changed the no. though). Why is it hard? :s

    MATHS for PSYCHOLOGY?!?! :S

Don't make your decision solely on what's been said here, but to add my personal two cents, I did advanced mathematics all through high school - wasn't always great at it but I did well enough, but I wasn't really enjoying it. So I chose general mathematics for my senior years (rather than start...

    MATHS for PSYCHOLOGY?!?! :S

Laura's saying she did 2 unit maths and her friend did general maths in high school. Now they're both doing a maths course in degrees that assume they've done 2 unit maths. The girl who did general maths is finding her maths course easier because a big component of general maths is stats. In 2...
