jess, my opinion on your transfer issue is this:

• do you really like the B.Ecos overall? by this i mean do you like the majority of your subjects?
• if yes, continue... because although you might really dislike the accounting subjects, you might enjoy the majority of the others and later choose a non-accounting major. having said that, i reckon management is a fully shitty major (too theoretical methinks).
• if no, then seriously consider transfer. consider what you are interested in, but also consider what areas would get you employment/success. because even though you say to me success/money isn't everything, being a broke/homeless arts graduate is no fun.
• i've actually talked to a final interior architecture student (@ uts) for you regarding your interior design field... her opinion was that it is a very good course - her boss (since she's doing part-time at a design firm) gets very good fees for consultancy work ($200/h). she's also doing various projects on design concepts on CBD hotels... so yeah that's a third-person opinion.

but i guess your life is ultimately your own; talk to experienced people, talk to your rents, talk to faculty staff, to the industry, do your research on your future field and make your decision from there.

hmm yeah Frigid's right, and most of all lean towards what you really want to be, and pick the one that you're more passionate about.

yeah im plannin to be a fashion designer since im obsessed with clothes..
and my final decision is that im sticking to the whole eco thing and i think i might like marketing.. the only creative course in the whole damn eco degree thing and if i do like it then im gonna transfer to commerce cos eco sux balls and i might do... i dunno human resources? haha no idea yet.. too far away
and when i have time im starting my label.. for once.. (after putting it off for the past 2 years), i'll send my shit off to magazines so people know bout it (cos yeah thats what i learnt from girlfriend mag) and start off a new site, fresh and stuff.. get my friends to model and market my shit.. ahahah i actually have a plan...

which is good... use the skills you learnt in management/marketing/accounting to help you start your own business... write a business plan, develop a marketing strategy, be an effective owner-manager... then move on to what you really want to do. see, commerce degrees are pretty useful in the real world...

and please lemme do some modelling, or just free clothes man...
