i've got 30-odd megs of photos to show (which i won't coz bloody upload limit) and also a panorama picture i need someone to photoshop for me.

Basically a reputation system is deployed in modern forums, it's a means to measure how much contribution a certain member puts in the forums, and it's based on user votes, so you see that little weight balance icon thing below your avatar, if i click on that for you and i give you 10 points, meaning that i think your post was helpful, it's a more better way of measuring how good a particular member is as opposed to the quantity of posts they have.
