I'm currently doing arts at usyd.
I want to do Primary Ed at usyd (I didn't know what I wanted to do at the beginning of the year, so I just did arts)
UAI- 93.5 in 2005.
GPA is 5.5 methinks.

The 2006 UAI is 86.45, so I'm not really worried.

probably less. for courses with larger candidatures, the trend seems to be a lower NRSL cutoff than uai cutoff

not really. did you check that thread? from memory you get 96 for a d average. (86+96)/2 = 91 NRSL
That should be enough for b commerce

does anyone know what the cut off is for combined law at UNSW for non recent school leavers?
It's about 96uai+D average (so 96 overall) for law at usyd. I think you can get in with a d average (or just above that) at unsw

if im not mistaken, unsw takes the greater of uai or gpa (not sure if this also applies to law). i remember it mentioned in one of these threads. oh well, guess there's not long until you find out if u got in

Where do you get the numbers for NRSL UAI? I've looked around but I've only found info for school leavers.

Ekh this makes things a tad less comfortable.

if you are really keen to do combined law and you don't get offered the course at sydney maybe you should consider applying for combined law at newcastle?

thats only if you can afford to and you really want to do law because the course there isn't too bad

dont you mean, 'thats only if you want to move to a location 3+ hours away from where you live, populated by some horrible people, with a minimal amount of entertainment, etc.' They may as well go to ANU, if they want to get out of Sydney.
