Anyone doing a One unit subject ( like Extension )

I have 11 Units, 5 2 Units and Music Extension. If you flunk an exam, but do well in assessment, does that one unit, cover up the Failed exams?
{simplified version}
they take your best 10 units (ie they split everything into 1 unit blocks if this helps you visulise it) so your worst single unit is dropped.
In your case, you will have 11 single units blocks for them to use, 9 if you take english out 'cause its compulsory.

Flunking an exam but doing well in assesment will moderate your overall mark down slightly (in theory) as assessment marks are aligned to your exam mark incase your assessment marks were just given to you... ie you were marked very easy

.: the "one unit" theory will only work if your "one unit" mark (exam and assessment) is better than the mark you flunked an exam in...

does this make sense?

LOL

short answer..it depends!

Im sure someone will contradict me here....
