Hi all!

So if I get 100 as an internal mark for one of my subjects, does that automatically mean I'm in the running for a state-ranking? Also if I come first, does the 100 remain 100 or is it still affected by the moderation process?

Any insight would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Depends on your performance in the HSC exams, and your rank, and how the rest of the state performs.:bat:

Doesn't matter if you have an internal mark of 100 or an internal mark of 6, as long as you come first, your internal assessment mark will be the highest examination mark of your cohort.

So if you get 95 in the exam and beat the rest of the cohort you'll have an internal mark of 95 and external mark of 95.
If someone in your school gets 99 and you get 95, you will have an internal mark of 99 and an external mark of 95.

The actual mark you get from school doesn't mean anything.

Say you top the HSC exam for your school with a mark of 80. Your internal mark is now 80.
