hi could someone explain this for me... okay if u do 11 units, how do they count ur best 10 units? for eg. some say ur ext course won't count to ur 10 units even if it was one of ur best units ? and others says they split the units up or something? im very confused :confused: please please help!

Board of Studies will only count your 10 best units. If you happen to do poorly in say english but do extremely well in say ext 1 math (your 11th unit) they'll split it and add your ext 1 math mark with half of the english mark.

Edit: Economics not English

your worst two unit mark will count for one unit and your extension mark will be counted (provided two units of english have already been counted).

eg, if you got 90/100 in a 2u subject, eg biology, but you only have 1u of space left. bio mark becomes 45/50 and thats what counts

No. Don't forget it is 2 units of english then your next best 8. Unfortunately it has to count.
If you get 96/100 in maths, it is 2 x 48/50 units. So sure, if you do well in extension maths, it will take place over one unit of a subject that you didn't do as well in.

Sorry! I didn't mean to write english - economics was what i meant to write :) I'm doing some english work now and it just came out...
