The competition isn't that fierce... it's overrated. Just go in, and do your best... and it'll be all good.

anyone realise there's only 4 slots in the timetable sheet? making our would-be-actuaries-doing-15cps-in-sem1's lives a little bit harder... LOL so many hyphens :D

and why are the slots so damn small! :p

True :)

Hey, my timetable for both semesters are 5 days/week
And one of those days I only have 1 subject (ECON) (in semester 2)
No matter what I do... I can't lessen the days i go to uni... Help? Or is this inevitable?

if you can't move econ anywhere, an dcan't choose different electives, then you will have to go 5 days :(

and my question is - you can't do over 14 cp in a semester? is that only for first year, or is that all the time?

I think it's all the time? Not sure though
Anyway, why on earth would anyone want to do over 14cp!? (unless you had to :( )
I'm guessing after 1st semester once you have a gpa, you always need academic approval if you're doing over 14cp?
With most courses, 12cp is enough isn't it to finish it in the minimum amount of time?
Thankfully, I'll never have to go near that many cp's again :)

Yes, it's inevitable... they're out to get us (in particular me!). In second year, it gets a bit better, unless you're like me and do Mathematics.

Actually you don't need academic approval, for second sem, because you're Actuarials :p

yeah it's just some of the precribed units for later years go over 14cp in 1 semester, but i think they expect you to do the ones you can in an earlier year
