can george orwell's 1984 be considered as an imaginative journey?

yeh i consider it as an imaginary journey. Because of the way it is setted.
Altho ive started year 12 like others.. and thsee AOS is new to me still
but the way 1984 is setted it a mysterious setting, which can be seen as an imag journey.
also it was written in 1948-1949.

BE CAREFUL with 1984, it's in another module (module C) called "Powerplay" in English Advanced. I suggest you stay clear from prescribed texts that are in other modules....

At least, 1984 WAS a prescribed text this year. Check the reading list

I wanted to use it for telling the truth...but it is cutting to close to its use in powerplay. Thus, I switched to Animal Farm.

Anyhoo, maybe check out some of his essays? they're great.

yeah but its a better text for powerplay
i would choose something less complicated like a poem.
i did it in speculative fiction aswell. its an excellent book and its becoming quite relevant in our current situation.

yeah... dont use something from another module or anything, i was gonna use my drama piece (cos its a short story i remade into a monologue) for my ext 1 english Crime fiction supp. but now i realise that i cant which sucks cos i know the damned piece inside out!
