If i do, a BIG if (or anything else important I may discover), yes I would publish my work and sell the patent for zilch.

I believe no one "owns" science. It is there to benefit humanity as a whole.

91 for chem

I had a go at the HSC chem markers at their pathetic "chem" syllabus. Also picked out 3 or 4 errors in the HSC exam paper.

Next year, the real chemistry starts :)
the science syllabus is just ******. how could the most talented young chemist in australia end up with 91 in hsc chemistry

%$#@^@ to SMH

In that article in smh, http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/12/18/1071337099167.html, they have omitted a major proportion of the interview, and they just picked random quotes to make it sound as tho im a snob.

Well, the fact is, I neva even knew what the girl said, and in reply to the girl, im not angry, but quite happy bout the chem/phys and I have sent my congratulations to her at the ceremony, which was not noted in the article.

Well, those who paid attention during "representation and texts" should know what im talking about.

Yes...I think we can complain about the title. I think the Abbotsleigh girl well deserved topping the state. It was not a fluke. The media probably did that to make asians look like snobs.

Oh, I'd like to add in addition :p

HSC SCIENCE SYLLABUS SUX!!! They fail to teach you what science is about... and I personally look forward more to uni . GO ADVANCED SCIENCE@USYD!!!!!!!

p.s. however, vincent deserves this double topping since his real ability is of course proven through the ELITE olympiad program.

im sorry if i offended u, its jst that they did make u look ungrateful, but now im sure u are grateful.
but i dont think i was the only 1 who believed that, but if u wanna blame ne1, dont blame da readers, its the SMH, they're the ones who picked out the quotes to make u look that way, and judgin by what they picked, it wasn't easy to go past what they intended 4 ppl to think, ne way im sorry again
