Hey everyone
since SOMEONE else blocked me, and i need to keep myself occupied, i'd like to congratulate everyone here on their great marks.
Congratulations, even if you didn't get what you were aiming for, at least u put some effort in.
I got 95.2, which i'm happy with.
Goodluck to everyone and i hope you end up where you want to be, even if its not direct.

I got 81.25 and i really happy with what i got and its about what i expected. It seems like most people here did really well and we should be pleased with our efforts. For the people who didn't get what they expected but still did really well, after the disappointment wears off, you really just need to get on with it. Just because you didn't get exactly what you wanted or expected doesn't mean you can't do your dream course. Like someone said there are always ways around it.

Congratulations Class of 2003!!!! :ninja:We Kick Arse :uhhuh: .

But its ok, i'm not angry, just hoping maybe i could talk to a "FRIEND" when you need them.
If you know who i'm talking about, please don't say it!

its me again
and my subjects were

general maths = 65/100
standard english = 70/100
Information Technology 70/100
IPT: 77/100
and SDD : 74/100

and my assessment marks were higher, and yet i still get 46.20 for my UAI, come on, this is not fair!!!

this is a total discrimination!!

I feel like they are preventing me from Uni

my average is 72, and my UAI is 46.20 that is 26 difference, thats not fair!!

give me your opinion
thanks

@kob3221

My opinion:

- Look at your subjects
- Look at your marks.
- Assessment marks are moderated
- Any UAI will get you into a course
- Your average is 72, but look at your marks and subjects. How do you know it will not scale down?

I don't know about you, but General Maths and Standard English doesn't scale too well.

Your average assessment mark is 72.

Your UAI is 46.20

You cannot simply subtract it, to find out how much you "lost" in terms of the UAI.

Here's a tip: www.uac.edu.au

Plenty of whitepapers for you to download and read. Better yourself, and get rid of the ignorance.

Braindead ash...

You cannot say you were robbed of your uai simply because you were dux. At the end of the day the uai you got reflected your performance in the hsc over the entire year and on the day of the exam. It does not always reflect the level of effort and sometimes not your hopes and dreams.

At the end of the day you got the uai and you should be proud of it as it is a good achievement. There are other ways to journalism at uts.. Find them and take them. You certainly have the belief that you are good enough... No just translate that into action.

My UAI

I managed 98.50.

I think that may have been second in our school.

I go to a rural, public, comprehensive high school.

I am aiming for 99, but, being in Year 11, I have another year left to do that.

I think I have a reasonable chance, because I went well in 8 units but not the other 2 (ave ~44 scaled, ~39 in that one).
