Who here was in Artexpress last year and got their artworks back...
I collected my artwork from school today and it was great to see that the art gallery clearly dont think our artworks are as important as others as mine has had glue dropped on it with paper stuck to it and ripped off and my photos have been scratched...

This leading me to the question do they look after professionals artworks therefore thinking that our artworks are not important enough to look after... I have had many offers for people to buy my artwork now but if I were to sell my artwork now the value or the amount they were willing to pay would be severly less than it was before the got the dirty little hands on it.

Sorry I am just really annoyed that they didnt have the decency to look after something that we slaved on for a whole year cause us must frustration, anger and tears...

my whole feeling there was "just cause you didn't get into art express.." (but neither did i *shrug* lol) .... still, i'd write lol just complain about it. they'll feel bad and give you something in return. even if it's just a ticket to their next show.. *shrug* they won't let it go unnoticed if you write and complain. acknowledge the fact that you signed the thing but say you simply expected better of them. question their ethics towards "professional" artists and why your work should not be treated in the same way.

Hey - sucks to here about your artwork
2 guys got their works back from my school
One was collected forms the other oil painting with 13 panels - came abck in immaculate condition, bubble-wrapped etc
So yeh, guess thats the way it goes! - but it is horrible to have your blood, sweat and tears completely eradicated by some art gallery plebs

well mine came back like that too... like all my photographs were perfectly bubble wrapped and my drawings were bubble wrapped and boxed... I reckon it was done when they were putting things on the back of mine so it could be hung

The gallery I went to they had little kids rubbing their hands all over this installtion piece and some brat dropped food on it. Kinda harsh for something we've worked on for nearly 2 years.

In general artexpress was cool and I want my work to be hung. i can't believe how many talented people there are.

I found out that they hung mine wrong, even though I gave hanging instructions and they called me just to double check. I won't get mine back til early next year because its on the Regional Tour.

I'm glad mine wil be getting marked at school! theres so much that could get wreaked...i'd hate 4 that to happen. I feel sorry for you!
