if i stuffed up my first 2 assesments which worth 30% in total and i get like 90%s for the rest of the assesments and do well in the external hsc exam will i still have a chance in getting 90 or above for my maths mark?

did u pass out of the 30%?

I would think that if u were to get 90's for the rest of ur assessments that u would have a chance at getting 90's... and by doing well in ur external exam i think u'd need to get 90's... even if u were getting 90's in school to get above 90 u'd usually need 90 externally as well... unless if ur internal was like 95 and external was about 87 (just an example) then u'd get 91 as a final maths mark

30% is quite a big percentage but remeber ur interal only counts for half of ur final mark I'd say u need to get really good in ur other assessments if u want that 90... also depending on how badly u stuffed up the 30%...

if u failed.. then it's gonna be harder... but if u passed then u have a better chance...

if u could post up ur mark out of 30.. it'll make it much easier as to whether u could or not

some guy in my year got 50odd% in his 1st 2 assesments last year and got 85% is 3rd ass(20%) and 90% in trial (40%)
i beat his in every assesment all year, he got 91 i got 90. u can realy do well, cos its ur rankin that counts
