2004 raw mark for band 6. wat do u reckon? (1 Viewer)

i think a band 6 is a raw mark of 95+

no it was 87+ last year as it was a hard test....

judging from the difficulty of this years paper wat do u reckon the raw mark for band 6 would be.
In 2001 it was (96-97)/120
2003 was approximately around 85/120

you sure about that? where you get that info from? i think it would be 1-1 which is 1% = 1HSC exam mark so it would need more than 90% for band 6

Same difficulty: possibly.
Easier: possibly.
Harder: I wouldn't say so.

I actually found last year's exam a little bit harder. Most of this year's paper was fairly straight-forward, except for a couple of things which were IMO crap but maybe that's coz I didn't know them

85 < This year's Band 6 cut-off < 96
Maybe slightly easier than last year's paper, so I'd say maybe 89-91/120 ----> Band 6.

my teacher said about 92 /120 would be a band 6. i got 100+ 4sure, so i think ill be fine. my worst exam this year hasnt been lesst then 85% so id be upset if i get less then a band 6 .... not to glot or nethin... lool
