well, there are some good things abt UNSW but also some bad bits.

i personally don't dislike UNSW but i can't say i like it very much.

UNSW needs to pay attention to its student welfare.

Apparently their economics degree is one, if not the best in Australia - not sure about the rest of the commerce faculty.
I am also very interested as to how their biological sciences course compare with USyd, UNSW and UTS. Their philosophy department is also reputedly the best in Australia.

well might want 2 take a look at unsw's gym and computer room. UNSW would never be top of the world or AUS, if the uni keeps focussin on making as much money as possible, instead of improving the education quality etc.

Plz compare all those charges on students (print, photocopy, sports facility) of UNSW with other uni. And you would knoe why we ranked behind U MELB and Monash. :)

There will be no riots.. not in a thread that is almost 2 years old.

Uni is best depending where you live and what you want to do within uni.

Uni is best depending what kind of study options you want within the uni.

The first thing you should know is what do you want to do in uni say in 2 years time. Then think about the uni.

So what do you want to do after school years?

whoa some thread necromancy in here

Also uni really depends on the kind of person you are. Are you a psychopath? As a fellow psychopath, I have found UNSW to be masochistically satisfying. Pardon myself as I attempt, however unsuccessfully, to display an elegant demonstration of my sesquipedalian magniloquence.

that being said, UNSW = 16th on the world in terms of engineering. w00t :D
