I don't understand how to work out question 30 b) i). I think I'm missing something lol because nothing is clicking with that question at the moment.

d = 1/p is involved right?? lol

First realise the photos scales are showing parallax angles.

USe pythagoras to find the parallax difference between the star in the two positions.

Half the parallax because in calculating distance you use the change over 6 months.

Use the formula as said by passion89 d=1/p
