at the moment, i have no working title other than "ceilings" which i do not like at all.

i have a rough 3000 words, and cannot even fathom finishing.

22nd of August is such a crappy date for it to be due =[
i'm just complaining about everything =] if only i had this sort of enthusiasm to actually write the damn thing.
I am so in your boat.

At the moment my story is called "The Emperor", but I will almost certainly change it by the end of this long drawn out protracted bout of suffering.

mine isn't going to have a title. I'll just launch right into the story. it makes sense and works really well actually.
My teacher tells me that titles do about a quarter of the work in a story, it's the first thing the reader sees and a good one can carry the whole thing.

So.. uh, make sure that you are doing this for a specific point, and you can explain it well in your RS or journal. Stories are supposed to have titles, but if you can come up with a good reason not to have one, go for it!

untitled as of yet, everything I come up with sounds corny and cliched.

Mmm. Ditto.

Mine doesn't have a title yet. It probably won't have one until I've finished at least the first draft. Usually when I write I don't sit down and try to think of a title. It tends to just come to me at some point. Sometimes I think of the title before anything else. Sometimes it's not until I've finished the story.

Mine is "What We Worked For"
It's the name of an old Against Me! and it just sort of fit really well with what I wanted to do.
Mine's about a woman who went to uni and studied really hard to get a job that she hates and spend most of her life working. Then she just goes "fuck it" (but in more eloquent terms), stops going to work, abandons her house and pretty much cuts off contact with everyone. still developing though (which is really bad since draft is due week 2) but that's ok.

give me an overview of what you're doing folk!
