You are joking. Labor's carbon tax is hitting honest , hard working taxpayers. Labor is the hard taxing government here not the Libs. And there won't be a welfare program for emitters that you socialists seem to conjure up out of thin air. And the left blames Libs for being negative ... Look at all these false unproven allegations being spread about. On the other hand everything I have stated is true and written in the history books. ( broken promises by labor-undeniable)
comrade abbott is the biggest socialist in parliament. that's a promise.

Are you saying that Abbott is lying when he says he'll bring in a Direct Action scheme?
Better soil , promoting research and development for regional Australia and a standing green army to clean our waterways and harbours is a welfare system for carbon emitters?

a direct action plan consisting of government paying an abatement price for carbon emissions - essentially, buying carbon emissions from private industry through the emissions reduction fund - is unabashed welfare. the program will be administered through a range of new regulations and a horde of new bureaucrats . it's cash for carbon. it's socialism.

edit: didn't even realise you said standing green army

The Australian Labor Party's climate change policy is a market based system unlike Comrade Abbott. Abbott doesn't even believe in climate change claiming that is absolute crap. Abbott is nothing but a climate change denier.

How can the Australian people trust Tony Abbott?

Obama has flagged a 'market based' solution for Climate change... He has ruled out the semantical Carbon Tax now dubbed a Carbon Fee. This surely means he will agitate for an ETS or the like. Now, of course wether this gets through or not is a separate issue.

When Abbott is PM this will place him a very juxtaposed postion compared to the international community. It will be interesting to see how it plays out during but also beyond the election...

How is it a market based system when the price of carbon is fixed by the government and increases year on year? The carbon tax transitions to an ETS but does not start market based,

Not believing in climate change means the Australian people cant trust Tony Abbott?
Then how can we trust the Prime Minister with all the promises she has broken to the Australian people?

The interesting thing was that he actually mentioned emissions but the reality is that it was a very small part of his State of the Union Address. But interesting nevertheless that he mentioned it at all.

You don't seem to have any evidence to back up any of your points. All invalidated. I asked you several times and you can't seem to prove that Abbott is a misogynist..Except that he's attacking the Prime Minister which is his job as Leader of the Opposition. I fear for the future of our country with people like you who make up blatant lies with no justification. And when they are called out have nothing of substance to say.

okashi is a confirmed socialist
I stand for smaller government and less regulation. I back a party that is committed to smaller government , lower taxes and competent management. The party I back will never go in alliance with the Greens who don't stand for economic growth (official policy manifesto) and consistently advocates for a one world government.

Okashi mate Labor also believes in smaller government, lower taxes, greater freedom and competent government. As manifested by Labor's personal income tax cuts to millionaires in 2008. Labor stands for wealth creation not just wealth redistribution.

Tony Abbott said that "by temperament men are superior when it comes to holding places of authority and exercising power." That is clearly sexist and has a bias against women.

The Greens are not socialists as Adam Bandt has said "I trust in low taxes and an economic conservative government that doesn’t tear down the fair go and gives equality of opportunity to all Australians. I trust in the primacy of markets in prosperity generation and the organisation of the economy but I trust that government has a vital role to play in promoting environmental security, good foreign policy and social security for those in poverty through no fault of their own. As we enter the new decade, the nation is confronted with geo-economic uncertainty post the Global Financial Crisis and the Asian Financial Crisis. Notwithstanding that Australia has undergone a dramatic cultural change since the end of WW2; we as a nation have truly assimilated into the Asian Pacific region and rightly turned our backs on the White Australia policy."

Have you gone nuts...?

1. Labor doesnt believe in smaller government how can they when public service numbers have increased by 20,000 people

2. Lower taxes? Carbon tax and the mining tax are the biggest blows to the Australian economy that a government can do. Dont be fooled in thinking it wont affect us because all these big businesses and emitters will just pass their costs down to us.

3. Competent government? A government that in a knee jerk way cut off live exports and thus abandoning farmers in northern Australia , a government that implements a tax that delivers zero revenue in the first quarter of its operation which was compounded by the fact that they attached spending promises to the expected 4 billion dollars in revenue , a government that is more focused on its internal problems and has been leaking from day 1 then solving the problems of the Australian people.

You dont create wealth by implementing extra taxes and by the way Labor is supposed to differentiate itself from Liberal and not appear to be the same.. Would be nice if we had two radical positions and a proper debate instead of this current situation where Labor is copying Liberal and not admitting their mistakes.

I respect Adam Bandt actually but the same cannot be said for his colleagues. Lee Rhiannon for example a member of the Socialist Party of Australia is deeply left wing and this represents the two factions within the Greens - the anti-capitalism(socialists) and the environmentalists. Ultimately the greens strike a left wing agenda - listen to this....

That was from 1998 , hard to find an actual article on this but it seems to have happened nevertheless. I am sure he regrets his words now and has rethinked his position. If he still believes in what he said 15 years ago then he is a sexist and he should not be PM. But you havent determined that have you?
