Great game last night, regardless of the result :)

Got to say I had quite a chuckle over Spider Cam chasing after the birds between the overs and the commentators' jokes about it hahahahahahaha :D

its not really a dead rubber, if Australia wins they become worlds number 1 in ODI's, if South Africa win they remain number 1. But yeah 43 degree heat. But i got finals tomorrow and tuesday so laters yall and hopefully Australia will be the new number 1 team after today :)

They should have made it 2 all (by being more lenient) and then left the excitement for today. Shame it's dead rubber, very discouraging to watch the match. Sometimes they should account for marketing too because after all, sport is entertainment; and if you want the views and audience, you've got to use tactics.

lel virtually empty stadium.

that discussion about choosing the world cup squad was very interesting though. what 15-man squads would you guys choose?

this would be mine, off the top of my head -

Clarke, Bailey, Finch, Warner, C White, M Marsh, S Smith, Maxwell, Wade, Faulkner, Boyce, Hazlewood, Johnson, Starc, Harris

Sounds like a good squad. They're gonna choose it in January so still a while, but for the present I would say:

Clarke, Bailey, Finch, Warner, N Coulter-Nile, M Marsh, S Smith, Maxwell, Wade, Faulkner, Boyce (<--maybe someone else instead), Hazlewood, Johnson, Starc, Harris

Coulter-Nile is actually very good; hoping the selectors don't overlook him :O

my only problem with coulter-nile is that he is very very inconsistent at the death and in critical scenarios :/

and wow de kock is much better today. definitely stepped up his game. :)
