People take me too seriously some times....
I said in the holidays I'll study 24/7 as a joke.
Someone fully believed me for a few minutes until they remembered there was 24 hrs in a day. @-@

How detrimental is this to my HSC mark:
I'm (say) rank 3 in a subject and ranks 4+ are very close to me (small relative gaps) BUT I am A LOT better than them . The only reason they are near me is because of easy school exams where everyone scores almost full marks and I dropped a few due to silly mistakes.

I find it ridiculous that the HSC assigns assessment marks based on relative gaps between ranks if the school is just easy exams all day...

if you crush the external assessments you will get half of that external mark and if they're not that great, they don't get a great external mark. maybe your school will make a hard trial to differentiate people. our school marks super harsh to differentiate everyone

Just wondering, what happens if I don't turn up for one of my external exams? Do I get 0 or my mark gets averaged or does it take my school mark (which I hope it doesn't)?

If you dont turn up and dont get misadventure, you get zero.

2hr break? That's so long lol but good luck! It might be hard to focus that well for such a longish period of time.
