Does anyone else struggle with projectile motion? When I'm doing textbook exercises I'm fine, but when I try actual exam questions I feel a part of myself dying .-.
You get used to it. Just keep practicing
We did soo much projectile at tutor that i actually wanted to shoot myself

I have practiced quite a bit (school + tutoring) but when I look at some HSC questions I completely freak out

I have a feeling projectile motion is going to be scary af

I tried to self learn motion in a straight line, scared the living daylights out of me

What really scares me though (feeling this will happen) is conics, mechanics and harder 3U

Keep in mind that textbooks are limited to only just teaching the basics to projectile motion:

- Velocity triangles in 2 dimensions
- The fundamentals
- The Cartesian equation of motion
- Time of flight
- Range of flight (+ maximal range)
- Maximum height of motion
- Angle of impact/landing (note: maths in focus skips this one)

Actual projectile questions require you to know how to actually do maths.

But everyone says it's scary (if you get what I mean)

What other topics are scary?

I never found anything besides projectiles and binomial theorem scary in 3U.

Perms and combs were never "scary" they were just annoying as hell.

When people struggle with simple harmonic motion most of the time I have no comment - I've only come across a few hard SHM questions
