probably 100% ngl. i remember going to usyd open day last year and people were legitimately coding in the lecture theatre during the advanced computing talk, like wtf??? so knowing people like that exist it's honestly probably a lost cause
deadass????? I think @mmmmmmmmaaaaaaa said we need 93 or something raw to sr in general but maybe I misunderstood

what technique is this???

"This Tempest would be brilliant: the best thing he'd ever done. He had been—he realizes now—unhealthily obsessed with it." (from hagseed)

I'm thinking self-reflection or something but idrk

how are you studying? I'd be happy to study with you virtually or something lmao, it's my goal to get 90+ raw
honestly the things to lose marks on are usually just the really niche questions, like assembly code/metalanguages/specific diagram questions (by niche i mean they tend to be less generic like the writing questions) so we kinda just focus on those and the pseudocode qs. just gotta make sure not to lose any easy marks in the writing questions by figuring out exactly what they are looking for you to say

yeah i honestly lose a lot in mcq, option topic (hardware binary) I always get full marks, and then I sometimes struggle on some weird ethical/license questions and also it's hard to tell how I go with some algorithms (especially for sorts - I can't tell apart insertion/selection for the damn life of me)

honestly mc is such a mixed bag. either the easiest or most random questions, and the hardest ones are the really ambiguous ones with multiple answers that could be right just some less than others. the best way to study is to just try and search for the most diverse range of questions which cover pretty much every topic

is sr solely based on exam mark or would it be the combined mark. because then if first and second get the same averaged mark do they both state rank if it's high enough? and would they have the same rank

It’s combined external and internal. they have some factors to decide who gets what

in this case they wouldn’t actually get the same average mark to the decimal points because second place doesn’t technically get the second highest mark, it’s based on the mark differences between the internal rankings

The supervisors of my exam are so nefarious, I asked for extra paper and instead of going the shortest route to get the paper they go around the outside of the hall and back to give me my papers, could've easily written more for Mod C if they didnt waste my time.
