Bruhhh I actually failed it's not even funny, like I knew I did badly but not THIS BAD  So embarrassing

i did so bad like idek how since i thouhgt i was actually good at essay writing, anyone what atar is good enough for them to not care 💀😭
Honestly I think what they're looking for is very different to essay writing skills. They say they're assessing analytical ability, clarity/conciseness and such. English already assesses essay writing lol

I got an 86 and 92 percentile rank. I think your best bet would be looking at the Ogive graph and locating your percentile rank to view your performance comparatively, and that should give you a rough idea of whether or not you’ll need to score a higher atar. I think you’ll be fine tho as i personally know someone who got into unsw law with an atar of 96 and an lat score of 73 :)
this gives me hope 🙏

apparently the LAT is meant to add to the atar not take away from it (some vid i watched from unsw law and justice faculty) so im honestly just praying that my atar's high enough for them to accept me

Hahaha... yes, it's meant to "add" to your ATAR, but if it adds more to other people's ATAR than yours then it's basically subtracting from it. I don't think the 36%'s percentile is gonna do me any justice lol

i said pro, but with certain restrictions that ensured the freedom of the workers. i think they wanted people to give nuanced policies for the second one instead of just a straightforward yes or no

if it helps, i was in the 96th percentile and i was very surprised as i felt my responses weren't particularly nuanced, i said a straightforward yes for the second essay. i think the ability to form your argument and predict counterarguments was helpful in my preparation.

wait what they care abiut score and not percentile?
Okay, wait, I checked on their website and I can confirm its the score that they use not the percentile. However, if there was a year where everyone did really bad, the scores that they would likely accept would be much lower, so in a sense the percentile is useful to give you an idea of whether you will get in or not
