Y'know... I went through almost a whole year without really knowing what the hell the topic was.

But we talked a lot about outsiders. So I guess that was it. :p

We did Gothic Fiction. It was pretty interesting, actually. What topic are you doing?

Yr 11 prelim is where you do a range of Modules. But in yr12 you concentrate on 1 module.

My yr11 course was
First Page Test - Megan Gressor
Charles Dickens Great Expectations

and Appropiations of Romeo & Juliet.

Wasn't too bad.

But yr12 eng ext we're doing Genre - Revenge Tragedy.
Extremely BORING and drives me bonkers.

But i'm doing eng ext 2 which is heaps fun and so I guess i can put up with ext 1.

Make your choices wisely............

for year 11 we did something about girls

i cant remembre what the unit was.. golden girls or glory girls or something like that - it was interesting but it was a class of girls which meant we could relate to it more.. i dont think it would be a good idea 2 do it if u are a guy

Haha.
My class:
- read short stories
- watched Shrek 3 times
- made our own movies in groups

I'm sure not every Ext 1 English class is like that, but for me it was certainly fun and a bludge... :)
