[(√3 + 1) + (√3 - 1)i]3 = 16(1 + i)
LHS:
[(√3 + 1) + (√3 - 1)i]3
= (√3-i)3(1+i)3 (After taking a common factor)
= -8i(1+i)3
= -8i(-2+2i)
= 16(1+i)
= RHS
EDIT: Couldn't really bother putting the whole working out here, I'm just tired that's all.
