70.10 atar, need other options. (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I'm looking for other options into primary education at Macquarie University. I needed a 75 atar to get into my preferred course and instead I only got 70.10. I know that I can get into an education course at UWS but I was really looking forward to going into Macquarie and I was wondering if anyone could help me find another way in through tafe or even explain how I can transfer internally and what course options I have to do that.

Advanced English - 79
General Math - 68
Senior Science - 79
Hospitality - 88
Community and Family Studies 82
Studies of Religion 1 - 38

What about ACU or UWS??

ACU course cut off is 80 which is even higher than macquarie :S But UWS is always an option, i'm just trying to find other options as well at the moment.

Hey!
Don't quote me on this but I'm almost certain that all uni's give out some sort of bonus points for different things. You can earn up to 5 bonus points just for getting a band 4 in a few selected subjects!

I suggest looking at mq uni and seeing what bonus points are awarded for, you may be able to scrape through!
