The Breakfast Club is overrated. Without a doubt the most predictable teen movie I've ever seen. Think about that for a second.

Best movie to come out of the 80's= 'Xanadu'.

The music, the neon lights, the dreadful script, the dancing, Olivia and Gene Kelly.

Bliss. ;)

Rebel Without a Cause achieved what The Breakfast Club achieved 30 odd years earlier. It focused on teenagers more generally, but it was more or less the same idea. Besides groundbreaking movies don't really mean shit to people who watch them 20 years after they were made :p Try Citizen Kane for example ;)

Good call about Diner though Jade. I didn't know chicks liked that movie, seeing as it's about a bunch of asshole dudes with conservative 50s attitudes who treat women like shit :p

Well let's face it.. with a few good and original flicks aside (imo Almost Famous, 10 Things I Hate About You, Donnie Darko, Ghost World, Cruel Intentions.. American Pie when it was first out), teen movies suck.
